"ALLA DERIVA NEGLI ANNI-LUCE" / "DRIFTING THROUGH THE LIGHT-YEARS"

...di Astronomia, in tempi recenti, se ne parla sempre più spesso: in TV, con ottimi documentari muniti di grafiche sempre più all'avanguardia; nella saggistica, con titoli su diverse sotto-discipline ormai reperibili in qualunque libreria; nelle riviste specializzate del settore, oggi sempre più focalizzate sulla novità del momento; nei meandri della rete, dove quantità e qualità delle informazioni reperibili sono inversamente proporzionali.

A cosa può servire, quindi, parlare di Astronomia in un nuovo blog, uno tra i tanti reperibili tramite una semplice ricerca on-line?

La risposta è presto detta: a fornire quelle particolarità (tu chiamale, se vuoi, "curiosità") su oggetti del profondo cielo, stelle esotiche o più conosciute che altrimenti è difficile trovare altrove; peculiarità delle quali l'Universo abbonda, ma che non tutti conoscono, se non a grandi linee, o delle quali poco si parla.

E perché proprio quel titolo per questo blog?

Perché il sottoscritto, con la sua fervida fantasia, immagina di compiere un viaggio nel cosmo senza una rotta precisa, "spazzando" la volta celeste nelle sue più remote profondità.

Il blog nasce adesso e al momento, quindi, ci sarà non molto da leggere...ma se avrete la costanza di seguirlo, certamente verrete incuriositi da quelle peculiarità cosmiche che, man mano, verranno esposte con la stessa passione che da sempre uso per la stesura delle mie pubblicazioni.

Buona lettura e, come d'uso tra gli appassionati del settore, "cieli sereni".

In recent times, Astronomy is more and more spoken almost everywhere: on TV, with good documentaries built with excellent computerized-graphics, as well as in several books available in most of the libraries; in specialized magazines, that more and more focus on the news of the moment; last but not least, on the net, where the quantity and quality of information available got inversely proportioned each one another.

By the way, why a new blog - this one -about Astronomy since there are many available through a simple search on the net?

Nevertheless, the answer is fast given: in order to provide those features on deep-sky objects, on exotic stars as well as on those more known: information which is, otherwise, difficult to find elsewhere, peculiarities of which the Universe is abundant but whose little is said or known by anyone.

And why such a title for this new blog?

This is because of my own vivid imagination, by which I do imagine a journey in the Cosmos without a precise destination, "sweeping" the vault of heaven in its most remote depths.

Since it has been just create, in this new blog there is no so much to read at the moment... but if you have the perseverance to follow it, you will certainly be intrigued by the cosmic peculiarity that will be shown, put together with the same passion that I’ve always used for the writing of my many publications.
